About Us

Keith Smalling AIDS Foundation: Supporting Trans+ Youth

Based in Orange County, Florida, we are a BIPOC-led organization serving Central Florida's diverse Trans+ communities across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Polk, and Volusia Counties.

Our foundation, led by a diverse team of BIPOC queer leaders, is dedicated to empowering Trans+ individuals, with a particular focus on supporting Black, Latinx, and immigrant communities. Established in memory of Keith Smalling, a remarkable young transgender woman who passed away from HIV at the age of 17, we provide comprehensive support through medication access, counseling, and essential resources.

Through our EmpowerCare Initiative, we offer culturally competent programs specifically designed to address the unique needs of QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community members, ensuring accessible healthcare and support services.
